We have been extremely impressed by the calibre of companies that are addressing the Electric Aviation Industry and have had the pleasure to work with several on their design challenges. In the air, safety is the most important concern since, unlike an electric vehicle, you can’t just pull a plane off to the side of the road.
C4V Technology is developed with safety as a top priority. Our Bio-Mineralization process
helps reduce the possibility of fire and harm to human life. Also, with the
Aviation/Aerospace industries being major contributors to global warming issues
Some interesting uses in the Aviation Industry
VTOL
The Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) aircraft hold much promise and stretch
the imagination with the thought of “air taxis” and the like. Their high power
and range issues
Fixed Wing Aircraft
Despite being a little later to the party, our conversations with folks
developing fixed wing market have proven interesting. The opportunity to reduce
GHG emissions is enormous for this space and ICE engines in fixed wing aircraft
account for a large portion of worldwide consumers of fossil fuels.
Aerospace & Space
As we move toward a Solid State Battery, use cases for the C4V battery
technology continue to multiply. Since the operating conditions at very high
altitudes, and beyond, present the most challenging operating conditions for LIBs, we look forward to our S Series cell development solutions to address those challenges. The Mars Rover was powered by
Batteries and many satellites use solar collectors that need energy storage to
become viable.
