C4V seeks an experienced, motivated businesses development professional to spearhead marketing efforts of its next generation Lithium-Ion battery technology. C4V is setting up an entire manufacturing ecosystem in upstate New York to assemble defect-free Lithium-Ion cells designed for use in automotive industry and green energy projects. The candidate shall develop and maintain business relationships with customers around the world (especially in the North America, Australasia, Europe and India). The candidate shall be a key customer-facing representative of C4V and its innovative technologies. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and professional to work well in a fast paced environment with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities
  • Build effective network with customer/ partners and C4V teams on product design and sales.
  • Travel to customer/ partner locations to establish and develop new programs.
  • Keep track with customer/ partner for process changes/ enhancements.
  • Work out fulfillment plans with internal colleagues upon requirement receipt from customers.
  • Lead necessary communication and interactions between internal technical team and customer/ partner.
  • Create efficient processes and reports for individual projects and business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of key changes and advances in energy storage industry and new market opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in business, chemistry, materials, mechanical, etc, related majors or equivalent.
  • Excellent networking and relationship building skills inside the company and with customers/ partners.
  • Experience of working with companies, preferably in Lithium-Ion lab environment.
  • Understanding of Li-ion battery production and sales.
  • Strong passion for startups and energy industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, other language skills is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-tasks with international and cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel around.

C4V is working to set up an entire manufacturing ecosystem in Upstate New York and to assemble defect-free Lithium-Ion cells designed for use in the automotive industry and green energy projects. We are looking for a hands-on experienced electrolyte specialist to involve in battery improvement research. The candidate will work and collaborate with other members in the R&D group, which focuses on optimization of cathodes, anodes, electrolytes and separators for Lithium-on batteries by extending battery life, safety and charge performance. The candidate will also need to respond to technical questions and data requests from customer/ partner.

Responsibilities
  • Master strong theoretical as well as practical knowledge of cathode, anode, electrolyte, and separator materials, and how these components work together to make a high-performance cell, especially how the electrolyte formula affects the EC performance.
  • Work on electrolyte preparation, characterization and application testing.
  • Carry out coin cell assembly and EC testing.
  • Develop and apply reports on materials characterizations and EC processing data analysis for individual projects and business collaborations.
  • Be the in-house expert in maintaining a robust and inclusive safety research environment.
  • Collaborate well with other team members in the R&D group, as well as other teams in the company to work out solutions.
  • Pay attention to advanced technology that may be applicable for next generation cell design in energy storage industry and new market opportunities.
Requirements

  • Extensive experience in materials chemistry and electrochemistry.

Requirements
